Message from CUHK

Founded in 2005, The Chinese University of Hong KongTung Wah Group of Hospitals Community College (CUTW) is making a positive contribution to local tertiary education by providing secondary school leavers with a wide range of pre-associate and associate degree programmes, which prepare students for pursuing further studies or entering the workforce.

Committed to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals’ mission of nurturing talent to serve the community and The Chinese University’s vision of facilitating the all-round development of students, CUTW provides a wide variety of programmes and gives equal emphasis to specialist knowledge and general education. There are also language and leadership training programmes as well as internship and overseas exchange opportunities to help students develop their potential to the full. The CUTW campus is housed in the Ma Kam Chan Memorial Building. Equipped with various state-of-the-art facilities, the 21-storey custom-built structureprovides student with ample space for both academic and extra-curricular activities, creating a congenial environment for them to enjoy a vibrant campus life.

Stepping into the seventh year of its operation,CUTW has been gaining growing recognition as a higher education provider in the community. And the popularity of the programmes offered by it has been attested to by its ever-increasing student population. I sincerely hoped that every student of CUTW will benefit from the rich learning experience provided here.
