Campus Network
The network connection from each floor to the Campus Network Backbone located at 9/F Server Room is a 1Gbps Gigabit Ethernet link and each computer connected to the Campus Network up to 100Mbps speed with 10/100BaseT technology.
The Two-layer firewall is used to protect against internal and external attacks. The Internet firewall protects Internet Inbound and outbound traffic sand Server farm firewall to provide access control from different network zone.
Internet Connection
CUTW Community College connects to the Internet with 100 Mbps dedicated Internet link.
Wireless Connection
CUTW Community College wireless network is available almost any public aeas in the campus. The wireless network supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g standards. Staff and students can connect their to the campus network using their wireless computing devices through authentication mechanism.
