Hong Kong Award for Young People

The Hong Kong Award for Young People (HKAYP) is a member of The International Award Association. The HKAYP, with its unique international principals, cultivates youngsters with perseverance and the spirit of self-challenge.

AYP is a programme about challenge, enterprise, effort and achievement. It provides an opportunity for young people aged between 14 and 25 to face the challenge of worthwhile leisure activities and voluntary service through which they can discover their hidden abilities and gain a special sense of satisfaction and achievement.

AYP plays an important role in youth development. The well-balanced Award Programme helps provide basic leadership training to the young people. Based on a positive assessment system, young people get to know their own interest and ability, potential, strengths and weaknesses. In the process of fulfilling the Award requirements, they will have a chance to learn how to plan the way ahead, how to set goals and achieve them.

CUTW is one of the User Unit under HKAYP’s Award Operating Authority and students aged 23 or below are welcome to join AYP with the College to enrich their experience and to become active and responsible citizens.
