Student Ambassadors Programme
Happy to Serve
The Student Ambassadors Programme fosters student leadership development and volunteering within the College. The Student Ambassadors are required to undergo leadership training and discharge services on campus. They have great fun, meet new people, develop work-relevant leadership skills, contribute to college life, and are officially recognised for their contributions.
Programme Components
- Leadership Training
Offered over the course of the Programme, Student Ambassadors will be required to participate in a series of training workshops intentionally and specifically designed to develop their leadership potential. The training will be delivered in 3 phases: phase 1 training will concentrate on self-management, interpersonal skills and communication skills; phase 2 on team building and personal growth; and phase 3 training puts emphasis on specific skills such as programme planning and evaluation, and public speaking. The training composes of experiential learning activities and Student Ambassadors will have the opportunity to join our exciting adventured-based programmes.
- Volunteering
The Student Ambassadors will be required to enhance their leadership journey by becoming engaged in volunteer service on campus. Service can range from data entry, activity support to peer mentoring.
Programme Completion
Student Ambassadors who successfully complete the requirements of this Programme will receive a certificate verifying the successful completion, and will be invited to continue their development through additional programmes. Completion will be recognized during a celebration/award presentation ceremony.
