Student Life Service

Orientation Activities

The Office of Student Affairs provides administrative support for the Students’ Union to organize orientation camp and other orientation activities. The Office also takes part in the College induction activities.

Student Lockers

The Office maintains student lockers for use by full-time students. The rental period runs from the date of locker assignment to 30 June of the same academic year. Interested full-time students may apply for lockers within the locker application period commencing mid September. An administrative fee will be charged.

Government’s Financial Assistance

The Office provides administrative support for students’ application of the Government’s Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS). Printed copies of the application forms are available at the Office’s service counter. Eligible AD and Pre-AD students may submit their applications via the Department by the application deadline stipulated by the Government’s Student Financial Assistance Agency.

MTR Student Travel Scheme

Administrative support is also provided to facilitate students’ application for MTR Student Travel Scheme. Students may pick up a printed copy of the application form at the Office’s service counter.

Student Facilities

The Office manages the booking of the Dancing Room on 13/F. It also coordinates students’ booking of classrooms and special rooms, and the posting and dissemination of promotion materials on campus.

Holistic Achievement Transcript

The Holistic Achievement Transcript(HAT) shows records of participation in co-curricular activities that enhance students’ all-round development. It also serves as a useful document for students to demonstrate their all-roundedness when they seek employment or further studies. Each student will be issued a copy of HAT at the end of the academic year. The Office also issues HAT on request. Applications can be made at the Office’s service counter.

Release of Information on Outside Activities

The Office releases from time to time information on outside activities to encourage participation on a personal basis. Subject to the nature of the activities, the Office may organize a student team to participate.

Advisor to Students’ Union and its Press Committee

The Office provides advice and support to the Students’ Union and its Press Committee to facilitate their organization of programmes and publications.
