Students' Union & affilated Societies/Clubs
The Students’ Union is the official organization which represents and advocates on behalf of all full-time students at the College. The Student’s Union, which is governed by an elected executive committee of 15 students, also provides support to a variety of student societies and clubs. The Students’ Union operates solely to protect and advance the interests of our members, and is a not-for-profit organization. All new students will become members of the Students’ Union upon admission to the College.
The affiliated societies and clubs provide students with intellectual, recreational, entertainment and cultural activities. The following societies and clubs have been registered under the Students’ Union in the academic year 2010/11:
- The Society of Chinese Medicine
- The Society of Health Care
- Music Society
- Dance Society
- Christian Fellowship
- Table Tennis Club
- Taekwondo Club
- Badminton Club
- Basketball Club
- Chemistry Society
- Life Science Society
Wide ranges of activities are organised every year by CUTWSU and the affiliated societies and clubs. The Orientation Camp and Singing Contest are some of the major annual highlights. CUTWSU also provides welfare for its members, and they are encouraged to check out the details at the Union office.
