Features

• To offer opportunities for students to gain industry experience and develop practical skills in establishments, such as hotel and organisations in the catering and tourism sectors, through completing 500 hours of internship;
• To train and provide students with the ability to apply problem-solving techniques and critical thinking skills to tackle challenges related to the hotel and catering industry; and
• To prepare students to become the preferred graduates with positive attitudes, knowledge and skills for further studies or employment in fields related to hotel and catering management.

(Practicums in some of the courses may be conducted in organisations outside Hong Kong. In case such practicums are conducted outside of Hong Kong, students will have to bear the costs of travelling, accommodation and any other incidental expenses.)

Professional Recognition

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

• Graduates are exempted from Paper F1. Upon completion of “Introduction to Accounting”, graduates will also be exempted from Paper F3 of the ACCA Professional Examinations.
