Associate of Science Programme in Chinese Medicine (General)

Features

  • To offer solid fundamental knowledge and skills for students as this is the first Chinese medicine programme at Associate Degree level in Hong Kong;
  • To offer plenty of opportunities for students to integrate theories and practices as practicums are provided at the Chinese medicine specialist clinics under the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals;
  • To nurture professional Chinese medicine and health care practitioners with an international outlook so as to foster the internationalization of Chinese medicine; and
  • To integrate theoretical principles and practicum experience to meet the local needs of Chinese medicine and health care practitioners.

Potential Areas for Further Studies

  • Articulation arrangements have been established with Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine University. Priority admission will be offered to qualified graduates of this programme for their relevant five-year bachelor’s degree programmes; or
  • To pursue further studies at local or Mainland Chinese Medicine institutions with granted qualification by the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong.
