Associate Degree programme

In order to strengthen General Education and Provide better learning opportunities for students, CUTW has set up the "Division of General Education and Generic Studies" to co-ordinate the delivery of the courses of General Education and Generic Studies.

Besides, all students of CUTW (except students from Associate of Science Programme in Health Care) are required to study Generic Courses including Chinese Language, English Language, Introduction to Information Technologies and Multimedia Applications and Quantitative Methods.

In alignment with our philosophy to produce well-rounded graduates, General Education Courses form part of CUTW's AD programmes. With the exception of the Associate of Science Programme in Health Care, all AD programmes share the common structure of General Education courses. Students should take at least on course from each of the 4 study domains and complete a total of 6 courses (18 credits) to satisfy the requirements for General Education. Certain General Education Courses are compulsory for specific programmes.
