Features
- To provide students with theoretical knowledge of print and broadcast journalism, and help them become dedicated and knowledgeable journalists;
- To cultivate in students an analytical ability and an open mind, and help them develop a fair, impartial and independent viewpoint in journalism;
- To familiarize students with the knowledge of industry-standard hardware and software in implementing techniques in different areas of journalism;
- To equip students with hands-on experience in print media, radio and television news through reporting from conception and editing to final release of the news;
- To prepare graduates to be employable as entry-level personnel in newspapers, magazines, radio and television news; and
- To prepare students for further studies in journalism and other related fields.
