The College Council is the governing body of CUTW and is advised by the Committee on College Operations and supported by the Academic Board and the Management Board. The University Extension Board (UExB) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is responsible for vetting and endorsing academic programmes, which are subsequently approved by the Senate of CUHK.

Assurance of Programme Quality

The Pre-AD and AD programmes of CUTW are approved by the Senate of CUHK. The academics of CUHK also act as consultants to the College to help ensure the quality of CUTW programmes. The programmes are monitored and regularly reviewed through class visits, term-end course evaluation, annual evaluation reports and quality assurance reports. CUTW's graduation list is approved by the UExB of CUHK and the graduation certificates are issued by CUHK.
