Professional Diploma Programme in Leisure and Recreation Management
(Part-time) (Retraining Course)

Objectives

-To equip students with an overview of leisure and recreation services in Hong Kong;

-To provide students with a better understanding of the theories and application of recreation programming planning, implementation and evaluation; and

-To equip students with the administration and management principles applicable to parks, sport areas, recreation, and leisure facilities.


Mode of Study

Part Time (one year)


Mode of Delivery

Face-to-face instruction with lectures, seminars, case studies and projects, supplemented with field trip and site visits as deemed appropriate.


Medium of Instruction

Learning materials will be in both English and Chinese as deemed most appropriate.

Admission Requirements

  • have 5 passes in HKCEE including English and Chinese, PLUS
  • 2 years of working experience; OR
  • have equivalent qualifications acceptable to the College; OR
  • be a mature student aged 21 or above with at least one year of relevant working experience.
