Scholarships and awards are set up to reward students who achieve excellent academic performance in various disciplines, or provide outstanding services to CUTW or to the community.


Scholarships for Outstanding Achievements

(A) New Students

These scholarships are awarded to newly-admitted students who have outstanding academic achievements. Applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible to submit an application:

Prior to the announcement of public examination results

Current HKCEE and HKALE examinees who meet the following criteria may apply for a conditional offer of scholarships when they submit their applications for admission:

(i) To the Pre-AD programme
     - among the top 30% of the student population in their Form 4 and Form 5 studies

(ii) To AD Programmes
     - a total of 18 points or above in one sitting of HKCEE, and
     - among the top 30% of the student population in their Form 6 and Form 7 studies

After announcement of public examination results

(i) Applicants applying for admission to the Pre-AD programme
     - a total of not less than 18 points in one sitting of HKCEE.

(ii) Applicants applying for admission to Year 1 of the AD programmes
     - a total of not less than 4 points in one sitting of HKALE; OR
     - cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4-point scale) in their Pre-AD studies.

(iii) Applicants applying for admission to Year 2 of the AD programmes
     - cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4-point scale) in their Year 1 AD studies.

(B) Current Students

     - PAD students progressing to AD1; or
     - AD1 students progressing to AD2;
       who have obtained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4-point scale) are eligible to apply.


Articulation Scholarships

     - Scholarships for articulation to further studies at specific local or overseas universities are available for outstanding         graduates of CUTW’s AD programmes. Applicants should have obtained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or
        above in both Year 1 and Year 2 studies (on a 4-point scale).

Student Ambassador Award

   - Students dedicated to serving the College, their fellow students and the Community will be eligible for the Student      Ambassador Award. In the past 2 years, winning student ambassadors represented the College on a study tour abroad.

President's List

   - A student who receives a term GPA of 3.7 or above will be placed on the President's list and receives a certificata award.
