Introduction
CUTW, through its School of Chinese Medicine and Health Care, is the first institution in Hong Kong that provides post-secondary associate degree programmes in Chinese medicine. We are committed to making our best efforts to provide a wide range of professional programmes for our students. It launched the first two-year full-time Associate of Science programmes in Chinese Medicine (General) and Chinese Medicine (Dispensing) in 2005 and in 2006, the School will introduce a two-year full-time Associate of Science programme in Life Science. With a team of devoted academic staff and Chinese medicine experts, the School aims to nurture a new generation of quality Chinese medicine and health care practitioners and professionals to fit the special needs of the medical field in Hong Kong.

Other than having the option of further studies at prestigious Chinese Medicine institutions in China and overseas, graduates may pursue careers such as those in biotechnology or health food products industries, Chinese Medicine clinics in government and private institutions, Chinese Medicine health care products research centres, beauty salons and homes for the elderly, while graduates of Life Science will have the skills and competence for jobs in laboratories and clinics. |
